| Jonathan DuBois joined the Cognitive Neurophysiology Research Group in February of 2008. He is currently assisting on research concerning a subset of epilepsy patients diagnosed with Post-ictal psychosis. The project will include morphometry data from MRI and Measures of neural synchrony from MEG to determine the nature of the neurological abnormalities, which underlie this disorder.
Jonathan received his B.S. from NYU in applied psychology, concentrating in social psychology and cognitive neuroscience. His thesis research investigated the neurophysiologic correlates of perceived stereotypes as well as, the behavioral reactions to activated stereotypes in several racial and gender groups. Jonathan remains interested in neurophysiology, especially as it relates to memory encoding and neural synchrony. He hopes to eventually pursue a Ph.D. in this area of research.
IIn addition, Jonathan is an avid soccer player, as well as a backcountry skier and mountaineer.
